East Mercia Branch continues to meet every second Thursday of alternate months in Oakham, Rutland. This season the Branch ran a successful range day at Calton Moor range in October for members to prepare themselves for the season. This was well attended by 15 shooters who had a zero session in the tunnel range before a well-run BBQ lunch. After all the members had had their fill, the afternoon session took place on targets out to 300m in a realistic stalking environment.
Positive feedback was received by those who attended.
The Branch committee has been working hard to establish a 200m range facility in partnership with a large private estate. Members will be notified once this is up and running.
