Hosted traditionally each year by different branches, more recently for practical reasons the AGMs are being held virtually.

British Deer Society 2021 AGM - Sunday 16th May

British Deer Society AGM online event Sunday Morning 16th May 2021

We are really looking forward to welcoming our members to the BDS AGM event this year.

PLEASE NOTE: To take part it is very important that you pre-register your interest by email to admin@bds.org.uk by Thursday noon 13th May so that your membership is validated and you can receive the link, agenda and additional information for the event.

Timings for the morning will be:

10.00 am Welcome from the President.  

Formal AGM business meeting to include adoption of the accounts, the election of officers, announcements and any formal business.

10.30 am (approx) the end of the business meeting.

10.35 am (approx) BDS Hon. Scientific Officer Dr Alastair Ward presentation:  “What use are deer distribution & abundance surveys and how you can help? ”  
Featuring BDS app demo and Q&As.

11.05 am (approx) BDS Hon. Veterinary Advisor Peter Green presentation:   “The challenges of disease surveillance in deer parks”.
Includes Q&As.

11.30 am members topics/ general discussions.

12.15 pm end of the meeting.

This year’s national AGM will once again be held virtually using Zoom.
