The Burwarton Show is a one-day event on Thursday 1st August 2019.
The event features trade stands, a food hall, shopping arcade, craft market, demonstrations, and a conservation area.
The Showground is located in the village of Cleobury North, on the B4364 mid-way between Ludlow and Bridgnorth in South Shropshire.
Main ring attractions this year will include:
ATKINSON ACTION HORSES who are making their first visit to the Show. They have spent the past twenty years training horses and riders for film and TV with recent credits from Poldark, Victoria and Peaky Blinders. The riders will demonstrate astounding acrobatics, tricks, and stunts. The show also includes a short but stunning section dedicated to the art of Liberty.
Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display (Ray & Wendy Aliker) with their inter-active stunning falconry displays make a welcome return to the Show. Their displays will include interactive displays where children are invited into the ring to get close to these majestic birds.
Other attractions around the showground will include
The Aldabra Giant Tortoise display which makes a welcome return following their success last year. Definitely not to be missed.
The Amerton Arts Studio will return to the Conservation area with their magic wand workshop running all day.
Pentabus Theatre will also be returning and are working on their activities just now.
The Panic Family Circus will be entertaining the youngsters again in the Children’s Play area.
The ever popular Village Green programme will include Magic Russ, Punch & Judy, Helen Pearson (singer) and the Church Stretton Accordion Band.
So much to see and do to keep our visitors occupied all day long.
