Events for 2010/2011

The branch is in the process of arranging a number of events listed below with some dates still to be finalised in the near future.  We look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Location:  Aberdeen Full Bore Gun Club at Drums.

Estate Visit:
Dalhousie Estate and BBQ, Angus

Please be at Invermark Lodge itself for 10.00 a.m. on 6th June.

Directions: Follow the signs for the A90 to Dundee.  Once on the A90 continue on this road for approximately 40 miles and take the exit for Brechin, Edzell and Fettercairn.  Follow the B966 to Edzell and Fettercairn.  Pass through Edzell and cross the Gannochy Bridge.  Turn left into Glenesk sign posted Tarfside and Invermark.  Pass through Tarfside and continue to follow the road up to Invermark.  At the public parking area continue straight on past the Church on the right and cross the bridge.  At the cottage take the right hand road through the white gates and follow the drive up to the Lodge.  It is as far as you can go.

40 Bird Sporting Shoot multiple re entry. With1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes including a Ladies competition. Followed by a BBQ and prize giving.

Guest Speaker will be Callum Ferguson of Precision Rifles Services.

AGM News

The branch held its AGM and auction on Sunday the 24th of January 2010. We would like to thank everybody who attended and particularly the very generous people and organisations who provided lots for this year's auction.

A new Committee was voted in consisting of the following people:

·         Chairman: D. Hieghton-Jackson

·         Secretary: S. Bayliss

·         Treasurer: B. Chesney

·         Committee Members: B. Green and M. Pearce

 

The Committee would like to thank Paul Adderton and Neil James, who both stood down from their posts, for their work and commitment to the NE branch over the years.
