The Society Head Office
The British Deer Society Head Office is located in the Walled Garden at Burgate Manor. Newly built and officially opened in 2006, the block is shared with the Entomology department of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Staff Profiles
General Manager - Sarah Stride - responsible to the Board for the day to day management of the Society and its subsidiary companies.
Area Director England and Wales - David Kenyon - responsible for communications, media, operations, political lobbying, events and membership recruiting activity in England and Wales.
Training Manager - Dave Goffin - responsible for developing and managing Society courses and training initiatives.
Membership Coordinator - Annie Nadin - administers Membership and the Stalking Insurance scheme.
Finance Officer - Phillip Rosslee - a Qualified Accountant responsible for all accounting and daily administrative duties.
Sales Administrator/PA - Sue Varvill - administers sales, assists with auctions and general enquiries and provides some PA support to the General Manager.
Training Coordinator - Cheryl Seymour - works within the training department administering all Society courses.
The British Deer Society Board of Trustee/Directors direct Society policy.
Sarah Stride, Dave Goffin, Phillip Rosslee and David Kenyon make up the Management Team with Board Chairman Mark Nicolson and Society Treasurer/ Financial Director Philip Mackenzie. All Board members have an open invitation to management meetings if they wish to attend. |
