Branch communications

We still only have around 300 e-mail addresses for Branch members, out of a total of 800 or so members in the Branch.  If you wish to be informed of forthcoming Branch activities, please send your e-mail address to the Branch Secretary.  Remember that e-mail is a very cost-effective way of communication, and will save the Branch (and therefore the Society) money which can be put to better uses.

As an incentive to provide your e-mail address, we are holding a  draw to win a stalking knife.  This will run throughout 2010 and the winner will be announced at the next AGM and the winner will be informed by e-mail.  All you have to do to enter is let us have your e-mail address (you can enter even if we already have your details).  To receive the knife you must be over 18 years of age.

Range training

The range training days at the facility at Euston are proving to be very successful.  The range is on private land and is not under the control of the MoD, so there is no requirement for a Certificate of Competence.  Full details of how to book for range training days are communicated to Branch members by e-mail, but the dates of the remaining days for this year are given below under Forthcoming Events

This is a very valuable facility for the Branch, please use it.

     29 & 30 August - Fenland Country Fair, Stow cum Quy Park, near Cambridge

In addition we hope to organise a number of other events, including a butchery demonstration, a fungi foray and visits to two deer parks in the region.  Members will be informed by e-mail and the events will be announced on this web page, as soon as details are finalised.
