The CD opens with a foreward written by Colin E Lees-Millais, grandson of the author, and then a scanned facsimile of the original volume complete with illustrations.
Millais' book is shown in its entirety and can be scrolled from page to page and with the facilities of Adobe Acrobat the pages can be enlarged, book-marked etc., and there is an index facility plus search options provided as part of the software.
The compact disc is in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF file) so that it can be viewed on most personal computers (PC/Mac). |
